Lippert Awarded €1 Million Contract from Seltmann Weiden

Porzellanfabriken Christian Seltmann GmbH (Weiden i d OPf, Germany) is making a major investment in its Erbendorf plant. After jointly realising a number of major automation projects in recent years at the Erbendorf site, Seltmann and Julius Lippert GmbH & Co KG (Pressath, Germany) are now taking a big step towards completing the automation of the plant on that site.

During the course of two completion stages, scheduled for 2008 and 2009, the Erbendorf plant will be equipped with two major buffer warehouses linked by a state-of-the-art handling system to the production machinery, a new biscuit firing kiln and the existing glost firing kiln. Additional production machinery will complete the overall investment package.

Extensive specialist know-how and experience acquired throughout decades of ceramic machinery and automation engineering saw Lippert succeed in convincing as an ideal provider of the most optimal and comprehensive solution for this project.
