Science & Engineering of Oxide Materials
The organising committee of the 9th Conference on Science and Engineering of Oxide Materials (CONSILOX) has announced that it will take place in Sighisoara in Romania from 8-10 September 2004.
The event will include a welcome reception and tour of Sighisoara on the evening of 7 September; plenary sessions and both oral and poster presentations on 8 September; oral and poster presentations on 9 September, plus a silicate manufacturers round table and another addressing advancement in high education in the science and engineering of oxide materials in the context of EU integration; visits to manufacturing companies around Sighisoara on 10 September, plus round table discussions on the Romanian silicate industry's involvement in waste management and on nanomaterials and nanotechnology - then closing of the conference and a farewell banquet.
There will be optional (and chargeable) sightseeing opportunities on 11 September.
Oral presentations of papers are supported with overhead and video projectors in every room. Panels for poster presentations are to be 700mm by 1000mm.
