Rheometry Website Now On-Line

Said to be fast to view and full of useful information on the characterisation of powders, the new Freeman Technology website is now on-line. First-time visitors can get an overview of the complex subject of powder flowability before going into the detail of how the new FT3 Powder Rheometer meets the challenges involved in understanding the properties of powders and predicting their behaviour in a formulation, QC or processing setting.

Freeman Technology (Malvern, Worcs, England) has pioneered the measurement of flow forces and energies in small powder samples such that, for the first time claims the company, a series of characterising numbers can be derived that accurately and reliably define the powder. The FT3 is said to be highly reproducible and routine measurements are fast and easy to perform.

On the new site, a simple menu structure guides the visitor through the theory and practice of making these measurements and presents examples and data to illustrate the predictive power of the information generated by the FT3.
