New SITI–B&T Pressing Lines for Cordillera and Villagres in South America
Cerámicas Cordillera SA (Quilicura, Santiago, Chile) – an Etex Group company which specialises in the production of ceramic floor and wall tiles – has chosen the reliability and the experience of SITI–B&T Group for the acquisition of its new pressing line destined for the production of single-firing with dry grinding powders.
The line will enter into production in August.
Meanwhile, Cerâmica Villagres (Chácara Vigorelli, Santa Gertrudes, SP, Brazil), which is a major ceramic floor tile producer in Brazil, has purchased two Model 3608/1800 EVO presses with related loading car with span of 1800mm.
Once these units are installed, Villagres will be able to produce 15,000 square metres per day of single-fired products or, alternatively, 9,000 square metres per day of glazed porcelain products. These tiles will be sold on the domestic market as well as being exported.
