Meeting for Ceramic Tableware Industry Experts
On the eve of the Ceramitec exhibition in Munich - on 15 September 2003 - SAMA and Riedhammer (respectively a controlled and an associated company making up part of the Sacmi Whiteware Group) are organising a convention on the theme of 'Tableware: Trends in the International Market and New Technologies'.
The event will take place in Paulaner am Nockherberg (81541 Munich) and will start at 13:30h. The object is to bring together internationally renowned personalities and experts to discuss future prospects and scenarios regarding a sector of the industry which is undergoing rapid and complex development.
Among others, the following will be present:
Ralf Kuhn (Board member and Engineering Manager at Rosenthal AG, Germany) who will be talking about 'Innovative Production Technologies for the Tableware Industry'.
Jerome Fady (Vice President of Imerys Tableware, Paris Division) who will give a speech on 'How Raw Materials and Mixes Can Help Tableware Manufacturers'.
Roman Lackner (Sales Manager at Saint-Gobain Industrie Keramik, Rdental, Germany) who will speak about 'New Developments in High-Efficiency Refractory Materials and Their Applications'.
Peter Tipthorp (Chief Editor of the magazine Tableware International) who will speak on 'Trends in the International Tableware Market'.
Joachim Uebel (General Manager of the Ceramics Institute, Meissen, Germany) who will discuss 'Further Developments in the Production of Fine Porcelain'.
CLOSING SPEECH - Eugenio Ferragina (Managing Director of Sacmi Whiteware) - 'Industrial Strategies Aimed at Research & Development and Support of Ceramics Producing Districts'.
Karin Scharrer, Chief Editor of CFI, will chair the discussion. The seminar will end at 18:30h.
