KEMET Acquires Greatbatch-Sierra Product Lines
KEMET Corporation (Greenville, SC, USA) has announced that it has acquired certain assets from Wilson Greatbatch Technologies Inc. The purchase includes the non-medical, high voltage and high temperature ceramic capacitor and EMI filter product lines of the company's Greatbatch-Sierra Inc subsidiary in Carson City, NV, USA.
Commenting on the acquisition, KEMET President and CEO Jeffrey Graves said: "The addition of these product lines is an important step in KEMET accomplishing the strategic objective to broaden our high-performance capacitor solutions to support our customers' ever-increasing technical requirements".
