GeoCorp Expands Thermocouple Manufacturing Capacity

Industrial Heating (www.industrialheating.com) reports that GeoCorp Inc (Huron, OH, USA) - a leader in thermocouple technology - has expanded its production capacity to manufacture inert gas-backfilled, vacuum sealed thermocouples.

According to the company, inert gas backfilling and vacuum sealing increases the thermocouple service life and maintains accuracy longer, reducing costs for users and reducing downtime associated with changing thermocouples.

Sheaths used for backfilled thermocouples are available in various materials, including Inconel, molybdenum and tantalum. Type R, S and C thermocouples are available in lengths up to 122cm.
