Higher Production for Gardenia Orchidea

Ceramiche Gardenia Orchidea SpA (Spezzano di Fiorano, MO, Italy) has boosted tile production with the installation of new presses, dryers and a double track kiln. The new installation is centred around a special RKK 250 kiln designed by engineers at Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy).

Just under 83m long, the kiln is capable of reaching high production rates with peaks of 7,000 sq.m. of product per day for each of the two production lines - one biscuit and one glazed tile.

New Sacmi patented solutions assure cooling system efficiency, to which particular attention has been paid. Another notable aspect of the project has been the importance of the work cycle of Sacmi's ETP and ELS dryers, set up to guarantee the best conditions under which to manufacture the very high quality products that Gardenia Orchidea offers to the market.
