Sacmi Sanitaryware Plants for Indian firm Euro Ceramics

Euro Ceramics Ltd has been active in the Indian market for just five years. Nevertheless, it has already become one of the country’s biggest producers of floor and wall tiles, kitchen ceramicware and sanitaryware, its distinctive feature being attention to quality and compliance with the industry’s international standards.

Attentive to technological innovation ever since its founding, Euro Ceramics is currently completing what is a key sanitaryware investment plan, as it is in the process of starting up the first phase of a new plant able to produce 250,000 pieces a year. Furthermore, when the new 102-metre STK 300 tunnel kiln – at present going through the start-up procedure – becomes operative, overall plant capacity will touch 750,000 pieces per year. Wholly Sacmi-supplied, the plant features casting bench batteries and a robotised glazing carousel, features that are said to ensure products of outstanding quality and especially high productivity.

While its registered office is in Mumbai in Maharashtra, Euro Ceramics has focussed all of its output facilities in the neighbouring state of Gujarat; many of its plants feature Sacmi-made machines and plants. It is not only the sanitaryware plant that makes use of Sacmi technology, but the same is equally true for Euro Ceramics’ tile-producing operations.
