Elcoteq Opens Office in Shanghai
Elcoteq Network Corporation - said to be the largest European manufacturing services company providing engineering and manufacturing services, supply chain management and after-sales services to international high-tech companies - has just opened a new office in Shanghai in PR China in order to strengthen its sales, purchasing and logistics activities in the Shanghai-Nanjing region.
The main task of the new office is to emphasise Elcoteq's local presence and to improve customer and supplier relationships in the area. Mr Seppo Pietarinen has been appointed Office & Area Sales Manager. He has more than three years' experience in China and in total four years in Asia (China, Thailand and Hong Kong). Mr Ke Song Liu has been appointed Sourcing Manager responsible for local sourcing.
Previously, Elcoteq has had manufacturing plants in Dongguan and Beijing and a customer services and after-sales services centre in Hong Kong. China is one of the fastest growing markets for electronics manufacturing in the world.
