Consulting with the Experts

CERAM has recently launched CERAM Consulting; a specialist facility, offering consultancy services across an extremely broad range of applications.

“CERAM has offered consultancy services for several years;” says Graham Small, General Manager of CERAM Consulting. “The centralisation of these under the banner of CERAM Consulting allows us to expand on the areas and applications where we can offer consultancy in addition to simplifying and streamlining the process by which we help our clients. With over 20 consultants recognised for their expertise, experience and contribution to industry, we offer a unique service, working in partnership with you to implement solutions or bring about beneficial change.

“Whatever your business, from manufacture to retail, UK and abroad, we can offer major advances in the prosperity of your business. Whether you wish to expand or develop in a new direction or simply increase efficiency, the aim of CERAM Consulting is first and foremost to improve the business performance of our clients. To achieve this, all CERAM consultants work in close partnership with a large team of CERAM scientists and engineers capable of tackling projects of any size”.

Services newly offered in response to recent demand include assisting manufacturers with new factory planning; improving manufacturing efficiency and implementing quality systems and standards. All of these areas, essential for growth, can benefit from consulting with CERAM’s dedicated teams.

Another valuable facet of the service is the provision of supply chain consultancy for importers. CERAM Consulting is able to help overseas businesses to meet the standards required for export to the West, creating opportunities for both exporter and importer, which is in keeping with CERAM’s general aim of improving the competitiveness and profitability of its members and clients as ‘your partner in materials and technology’.

CERAM has been established for over 50 years and employs 160 staff at its 10,000 square metre facility in Stoke-on-Trent, England which includes on site testing laboratories and over £7 million worth of equipment.

At Ceramitec, CERAM will be located in hall B2, stand 228.
