Ceranor for September
Ceranor - the 11th Ceramics, Glass and Decorative Arts Exhibition - has been announced for 6-9 September 2001 and will take place in Oporto, Portugal. This is the largest Portuguese exhibition of its type and features over 750 exhibitors from 14 different countries.
Together with Brinde (toy show) it takes up the whole of the EXPONOR exhibition area of 52,000 square metres and regularly welcomes over 28,000 trade visitors from 21 different countries. The average purchase order, according to the organiser, is in excess of 1.2 million escudos.
In 2001, a new exhibition area and new facilities for visitors have been added. There has recently been a strong increase (+73%) in foreign visitors and in particular (+126%) the number of visitors from outside the Iberian peninsula.
Heading the list of exhibits are decorative articles made from general pottery ware, porcelain and glass.
