French Company Announces Extended Services for Ceramic Moulds

With its 'Revo' equipment established for some time, Ceramic Forum (Solignac, France) has just announced extended services offered for its 'CeraMoulds'.

With a variety of two to five axes CNC machines in different sizes, the company says it can cope with all mould dimensions, material and applications for all ceramic sectors, including tableware, sanitaryware, refractories etc. It provides case moulds, prototyping, sample models and its service includes direct tooling from CAM files.

Without dependence on a specific resin or machine supplier, Ceramic Forum manufactures customised porous resin working moulds adapted to the client's specific experience and Ceramic Forum's know-how. Various mould constructions, resins and fabrication technologies are employed.

The company says that it is also experienced in the usage of all current porous resins available on the market and that it develops technology processes to optimise the results using resins according to customers' preferences, machine and local environment. It offers a range of de-moulding designs.

To complete the 'All-In Mould Making Concept', an after-sales service has been set up to provide assistance in optimising the machine pressure and casting cycle.

Ceramic Forum adds that as a proper mould cleaning system is of great importance, complete automatic mould washing systems can be custom designed. Cleansing materials are proposed according to local conditions.

3D designed drawings and motion pictures can be computer aided designed from either sketches, a real model or from 2D computer drawing files.
