CARBO Ceramics Appoints New Directors

CARBO Ceramics Inc (Irving, TX, USA), the world's leading manufacturer of ceramic proppants for use in the hydraulic fracturing of natural gas and oil wells and the leading supplier of fracture and reservoir diagnostic services, has announced the appointments of James Jennings and Randy Limbacher to its Board of Directors.

Mr Jennings is Chairman of Hunt Oil Company and has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to being elected Chairman of Hunt Oil Co, he served as its President/Director and Executive Vice President of International and U.S. Exploration, and Group Vice President-Worldwide Exploration and Production.

Mr Limbacher is Executive Vice President-Exploration and Production, North and South America for ConocoPhillips. He has more than 20 years' experience in the energy industry and previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Burlington Resources Inc. At Burlington, he was responsible for all oil and gas exploration, development and production and the day-to-day operations of the company.
