Expanded building event scheduled for Ukraine
Following the success of KievBuild 2000, which took place from 20-23 June 2000 and incorporated specialised exhibitions such as Interiors Kiev, Heat*Vent Kiev and Santechnika, it is reported that the State Committee for Construction, Architecture and Housing Policy of Ukraine and the National Union of Architects of Ukraine will be supporting ITE Group's initiative to launch the 1st Building Week Ukraine 2001.
The new exhibition will consist of the Festival of Architects, an acclaimed seminar and conference programme, and the launch of the 'Best Ukrainian Architect' award. Already preparations are going ahead for the exhibition, which will take place from 19-22 June 2001, and which says ITE promises to further improve standards in building and construction and to encourage greater links between international and domestic industry through investment and development.
It is further reported that 50% of this year's KievBuild exhibitors have already confirmed their participation at Building Week Ukraine 2001.
