Bricesco and K&F Collaborate on Technology, Design and Marketing

Two of the UK's most established and leading kiln manufacturers - Bricesco Ltd (an associate of the CDS Group of Companies) and Kilns & Furnaces Ltd - have recently signed a 'Joint Memorandum of Understanding' for Cooperation and Collaboration between the two companies.

The two companies will continue to operate within their own spheres of activities but with very definite formal, close links embracing technology, design and marketing.

The parties said that effectively the two world renowned companies are able to offer jointly to the ceramic, glass and metallurgical industries the largest range of kilns, furnaces, dryers and ovens - from the smallest laboratory test units through the entire spectrum of shuttle, fast fire conveyor, fixed hearth kilns to the largest and most technically advanced tunnels kilns available world-wide.

Terry Dunne, Managing Director of Bricesco and Chairman of the CDS Group, said: "This new and vibrant partnership enables our clients to select from a vast range of standard equipment with a fixed price structure or alternatively benefit from our collective experience in designing equipment to client specific needs.

"Whichever route our clients choose they can be assured of our commitment not only to excellence of product but a first class service embracing fuel efficiency, latest technological advancement based upon a firm foundation of proven design at the minimal capital cost."

On behalf of Kilns & Furnaces, Managing Director Keith Pedley commented: "This new working partnership underlines the mutual respect and trust between the two companies, embracing joint experience, resources and information technology. We look forward to offering across all sectors of the industry not only an unrivalled product portfolio of both proven and new products embracing cutting edge technology complete with a rapid, efficient and flexible response to clients' needs.

"It is envisaged that this new era of cooperation will result in reduction of capital cost to industrial clients on new equipment whilst at the same time enhancing the after sales, spares and service section of both companies."
