Automatic Fault Inspection for Ceramic Products

The OPTO range of fault inspection machines will feature prominently in the display of CeramicForum (Solignac, France) at this year's Ceramitec exhibition. The OPTO machines have been designed to detect small cracks, dots, glaze faults etc as well as to provide shape and measuring control and sorting to custom requirements for a wide range of ceramic products - flat and hollow tableware, refractory cassettes, roof tiles, clay pipes, technical ceramics etc.

The inspection and control visualisation management supplies statistics and information for determining process problems in the continuous production line. An OPTO machine demonstrating detection on high quality porcelain plates will be on the exhibition stand.

CeramicForum says it will also introduce a number of revolutionary products for the ceramic industry, such as LaserMarking and InfraMicron drying panels. The organisation has over 20 forum members, each specialised in their own particular area of the ceramic industry.
