Arburg Invites 370 Guests

Arburg's Specialist Days, which took place at the group's HQ in Lossburg, Germany from 13-17 June 2005, were said to once again have been a great success. Around 370 guests from a total of 13 countries visited the various one-day events organised around the theme of 'Machine Concepts for the Processing of Cross-Linkable Materials'.

Arburg has many years of experience in the manufacture of injection moulding machines, largely used in the plastics industry but also in the metallurgy and technical ceramics sectors.

With the various demonstration exhibits and applications displayed during the Specialist Days, trade visitors were given an impressive presentation of the technological variety and options for the special applications of injection moulding, as well as Arburg's wide-ranging expertise, all covered on a single day.

The visitors were impressed by this compact and comprehensive event format, regardless of whether they were already active in the field of special applications or considering participation.

Arburg's production is currently carried out by approximately 1,600 employees, exclusively at the parent factory in Lossburg. A further 300 employees work at the 21 subsidiaries and representative offices.
