Acme Marls due to launch new Kiln Furniture products

Acme Marls is to introduce a number of new developments. Amongst these is a further extension to the company’s range of Extruded Batts, which now includes eight new batt widths in the ever popular 38mm thickness category - i.e. widths of 240mm, 260mm, 267mm, 305mm, 435mm, 520mm, 600mm and 610mm.

Newly developed for the Sanitaryware Basin Setters and Tableware markets this year is a completely new range of 25mm thick extruded batts, offering batt widths of both 500mm and 266mm.

Furthermore, Acme Marls’ body specifications have also undergone major changes, with the ALTREX body material range being completely redeveloped to provide kiln users with an even lower coefficient of thermal expansion - said to be a significant kiln furniture development, especially where ultra fast kiln firing cycles are required.

DECRON, a relatively new body material, has also been developed to provide kiln users with an excellent balance of economy and performance. Using totally new production techniques, DECRON is an ideal body material specification for firing products up to 1200oC.
