[January 2003]
International X-ray Analysis Conference
The 23rd International Durham Conference on X-ray Analysis will take place at the University of Durham, England from 15-18 September 2003. Conference delegates will get the opportunity to meet and communicate with colleagues working in the field of X-ray analysis from all over the world.
To give maximum choice and variety to delegates this year, the organisers have announced a comprehensive technical programme of both X-ray diffraction and X-ray spectrometry, which will include several training opportunities for learning new skills or refreshing old ones. One dedicated session will also investigate how X-rays help comply with environmental legislation.
The two full days of the conference will offer a parallel programme of dedicated XRD and XRF papers.
A call for papers for this event is still open, with the deadline for proposals having been set for 28 February 2003. Papers relating to all aspects of X-ray analysis are invited and the duration may vary from 10 to 30 minutes.
