Boral Appoints Warburton as General Manager Corporate Development
The Managing Director of Boral Limited, Rod Pearse, has announced that Andrew Warburton has been appointed to replace Bryan Tisher as General Manager Corporate Development for Boral Limited, effective March 2007.In turn, Bryan Tisher has been appointed Executive General Manager of Boral' s Timber Division, effective early March 2007, following the resignation of Peter Boyd.
Rod Pearse said: "I congratulate Andrew on his appointment and welcome him to Boral's Management Committee."
Andrew Warburton joined Boral's Construction Materials Division in 2000 as General Manager Planning and Business Development. He was appointed as GM Development for ACM in 2003 leading Boral's Quarry End Use business. He has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney (NSW, Australia) and an MBA from INSEAD. Prior to joining Boral, Andrew held various marketing, planning, strategy, finance and business development positions both in Australia and offshore.
"Andrew has had strong involvement in business planning and development within Boral's largest division and is well placed to lead the Corporate Development function for the Boral Group," said Mr Pearse.
