International Ceramic Exhibition Scheduled for Tokyo
The Ceramics Society of Japan, the Japan Fine Ceramics Center and the Japan Fine Ceramics Association will hold the International Ceramics Exhibition 2007 at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from 4 April (Wednesday) until 6 April (Friday) 2007 in cooperation with Fuji Sankei Business-i. This is the fourth exhibition in this series since the first was held in July 1999.The previous exhibition held in 2005 that was hailed as a great success consisted of three days of exhibitions by corporations, theme exhibitions by the sponsoring organisations, universities and research institutes, plus international symposia and seminars focused on automobiles, information communication and photocatalysis.
The 2007 exhibition will include recruiting events that provide opportunities for exchanges between industry, government and academia, plus seminars and symposia focused on electronic materials and biomaterials. The steering committee has been conducting cooperative negotiations with concerned ceramics organisations and ceramics companies and is making careful preparations for the event.
