Daniel Platt Makes Splash

Specialist flooring and roofing tile manufacturer Daniel Platt - based in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England - has recently been awarded the contract for the supply of floor tiles for use around the perimeter of a new 250 square metre swimming pool at Bishop's Stortford School.

With excellent slip resistance being a key priority, Suffolk based architects Hollins & Associates specified Daniel Platt's M29 Ferrolite studded tile in order to achieve the highest level of grip in wet barefoot conditions.

Daniel Platt's Area Sales Manager David Turrell said: "At Daniel Platt we offer a full range of studded quarry and studded Ferrolite tiles, each designed to provide the highest levels of slip resistance. Tested to the DIN51907: 1992 inclined platform test, our products provide the natural choice for changing rooms, shower areas and pool surrounds - whilst providing architects with a wide colour palette, as well as borders and accessories to help them achieve a final design that is both functional and pleasing to the eye".
