Investment in New Machinery Speeds Up Screen Delivery

A long-standing technical partnership between Materials Handling Products Ltd (Swadlincote, Derbys, England) and the Belgian company Technic-gum has resulted in MHP taking delivery of a computer controlled screen media auto punching machine which will greatly improve quality and reduce lead time for products.

This new machine can punch a screen that would take four hours to complete by hand in less than 10 minutes. MHP's rubber screens are made from its Abradeck polyester corded screen cloth to guarantee minimum stretch and very low wear.

The product has been developed over a number of years, taking into account industry needs and customer requirements. It is said to be very popular and with the new machine up and running, precision products can now be supplied much more quickly to meet the increasing customer demand.

The partnership between MHP and Technic-gum enables both companies to share expertise in the design and development of rubber and moulded screen media products. It also gives customers the opportunity to tap into the expertise of in-house design teams, advisory facilities and expertise on rubber and moulded screens from both companies.

MHP is a leading independent specialist in industry for lining, spillage control and screen media solutions and says it offers one of the widest product ranges available.
