QUALICER Update
The organisers of QUALICER 2004 - the 8th World Congress on Ceramic Tile Quality which will be held in Castellon, Spain from 7-10 March 2004 - have published an advance programme and other useful information.
Plenary speakers have been announced as: Pablo Baigorri (Esmalglass SA, Spain); Agustin Escardino (ITC, Spain); Emile Ishida (INAX Corp, Japan); Giulio Cicognani (Sacmi Imola, Italy); Anthony Stock (Tile Today, Australia); and Cesar Diaz Gomez (Spain). Additionally, over 50 oral presentations have been announced for the congress sessions as well as over 50 posters selected by the technical committee.
QUALICER will also be the meeting point of the CERLABS world network of National Ceramic Laboratories and ISO committee. After the congress sessions, the following meetings will take place:
* ISO/TC 189 WG1 - 11 March 2004 at 9am
* CERLABS Plenary Assembly - 11 March 2004 at 5pm
* CEN/TC 67 WG 1 - 12 March 2004 at 9am.
Some of the members of these organisations will have previously participated in the QUALICER working sessions.
