New Trade Fair for Construction Sector in India
BauconIndia is the title of a new international trade fair for the building and construction sector; it takes place for the first time from 4-7 September 2002 in New Delhi. The organisers are IMAG, Messe Muenchen's subsidiary specialising in the organisation of trade fairs abroad, the Indian trade fair organiser Tafcon Projects Pvt Ltd and the Italian trade fair company Veronafiere.The exhibition will be held in the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre, the largest exhibition centre in India. The main product segments are construction machinery and building materials machinery; building equipment and tools; marble, stone and stoneworking technology; fittings, building materials and services for the building and construction sector.
BauconIndia is targetted primarily at trade visitors from India and its neighbouring countries. Target visitors include construction companies, the building materials industry, the building machinery and building materials trade, manufacturers of construction machinery, planners, developers and architects, associations, universities and research institutes.
