Dyson Ceramic Systems Appoints New MD

Kiln furniture and ceramic systems manufacturer Dyson Ceramic Systems (Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, England) has appointed Andrew Forrester as its new Managing Director.

Andrew joins the company following his return from a successful two-year secondment to Korea. A qualified accountant with an MBA, Andrew's background is in customer focus and business acquisition.

Dyson Ceramic Systems is a leading manufacturer of kiln furniture and ceramic systems and was formed in 2000 following the purchase by Diamond Gimson of both Hewitt and Acme Marls.

Andrew replaces previous managing director Stuart Redford, who leaves following the successful integration of the three companies into one, but who will continue to work with DCS on a number of special projects.

Andrew said on his appointment: "I am delighted to have been appointed as managing director. My intention is to build on Stuart's successful merging of the three separate companies. With this job complete, we all recognise that we now need to increasingly focus our activities on the needs of our customers. I aim to address urgently the key issues currently facing our customers in regard to delivery times and customer service".
