Industry's Global Players to Meet in Munich

Messe Muenchen GmbH (Munich, Germany) has announced that companies from 40 countries will have exhibits at Ceramitec 2006, underscoring once again the fair's extraordinary international orientation. The Ceramitec exhibition takes place from 16-19 May 2006 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre and exhibitors include the industry's key players such as Ceric, Lingl, Dorst, Imerys and Saint-Gobain.

As in the past, the largest contingent of international exhibitors will come from Italy. Manufacturers including Sacmi, Garoll, Welko, IPA and Piccinini are just some of the companies that are using Ceramitec as a business and communications platform.

Other traditional ceramic producing countries such as Spain, France and the UK are normally well represented at this event. The Ukraine, Czech Republic and Turkey will also this time round have large groups of exhibitors at the exhibition - names such as Esan, Remas and Unimak will feature.

Messe Muenchen added that participation among Asian exhibitors was also expected to be strong. The number of Chinese exhibitors has increased compared to the last staging of the event (in 2003) and this time they will have both a national pavilion and individual stands. There will also be a number of exhibitors from Japan, Korea, Thailand and India. As in the past, there will be several exhibitors from the USA while Mexico is also set to be represented.
