MHP Solution to 'Hot Stuff'

The new Abraflex HM Scraper from Materials Handling Products (Swadlincote, Derbys, England) is, claims the company, set to revolutionise the industry with its ability to scrape caked substances and materials at temperatures up to 400°C.

The new scraper is manufactured at the company's Derbyshire site and is aimed at industries working with materials such as cement, pitch, carbon etc.

MHP says that the HM Scraper's unique design makes it very good at removing caked and hot material and everything in the 'hot area' is made entirely of metal. MHP added that it was already proving a winner in the cement and aluminium industries where it has been consistently outperforming other scrapers.

Brian Mackenzie, Managing Director of MHP, said: "We have installed the HM Scraper at several sites and it is easily coping with very hot and extremely caked materials, something that no other scraper has consistently achieved".
