Lamosa Installs Robotised Glazing Line

A leading Mexican producer of tiles, sanitaryware and ceramic adhesives, the Lamosa Group (Benito Juarez, Monterrey, NL) is pressing ahead with investments aimed at boosting its presence in both national and international markets, it is reported.

Making this growth potential a reality is Lamosa’s recent – and highly successful – installation and start-up of a robotised glazing line for WC production, supplied by Gaiotto Automation, a Sacmi Group company specialising in the automation business.

This line is described as the jewel in the crown of a long-standing industrial partnership between Sacmi and Lamosa and will flank the Sacmi press already installed by the Mexican company a few months ago.

The new robotised glazing line will allow Lamosa to boost product quality even further. It is an investment choice that also confirms the company’s commitment to constant technological renewal of its production lines – a must when it comes to sharpening competitiveness in the emerging Mexican market and, more generally, in international markets. These ambitious projects have, once again, seen Lamosa achieve its own growth goals by placing trust in Sacmi’s know-how and technological excellence, said the Imola-based supplier.
