COMPOSITES EUROPE Reports Strong Interest

Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH (Essen/Duesseldorf, Germany), the organiser of COMPOSITES EUROPE, says that the event is gaining in profile. As one of the key players of the industry, Exel has committed itself to participating in the trade fair.

Exel (Finland), the leading manufacturer of carbon and glass-fibre reinforced composites, is one of approximately 200 exhibitors expected at the trade fair with its accompanying forum, which is to take place in Essen, Germany from 20-22 September 2006, in parallel with ALUMINIUM 2006.

"Bookings from exhibitors show a positive picture throughout," said Britta Wirtz, the Exhibition Director. "We already have registrations from companies from the US, Great Britain and Germany."

In more than one respect, the event is said to reflect the international character of the industry. The national associations within the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) have agreed to support the fair and will promote it in their acquisition and marketing activities. EuCIA, as the co-organiser of the fair, will represent the interests of approximately 15,000 members of the European composites industry. "With COMPOSITES EUROPE, the association provides a forum for all its member companies to generate new business areas. It offers a unique possibility to publicise alternative technologies and materials," said EuCIA President, Volker Fritz.
