INFUB Proceedings Volume Now Available

Now available is the Proceedings of the 6th European Conference on Industrial Furnaces and Boilers (INFUB) which took place in Estoril-Lisbon, Portugal from 2-5 April 2002.

The proceedings set comprises 115 papers in 1,247 pages (three volumes).

The sections include seven keynote lectures and the papers presented in sessions covering Burners, Combustion and Heat Transfer; Pollution Aspects; Furnace and Boiler Operation; Modelling and Furnaces and Combustion Systems; and Alternative Fuels.

The organising committee for 2002 was Professor Albino Reis (Lusiada University, Portugal), Professor John Ward (University of Glamorgan, Wales) and Professor Wolfgang Leuckel (University of Karlsruhe, Germany).

There are several ceramic/refractory-specific presentations within the three volumes, as well as a wide variety of combustion issues which do or could have some bearing on the firing of ceramics and associated products.

The entire proceedings set goes under the ISBN 972-8034-05-9 and is available priced at 200 euro or US$220, both of which include postage and packing.
