Good Response to Next FESPA Show

The major European screenprinting show FESPA - which also focusses on allied industries such as ceramics, glass, textiles and electronics - has announced that bookings for exhibitor space at FESPA 2005 have far exceeded levels taken at this point in previous events.

At such an early stage in the sales campaign, advance interest in FESPA 2005, which will take place from 31 May to 4 June 2005 at the New Munich Exhibition Centre (Germany), is such that 60% of available floor space (almost 13,000 square metres) had already been allocated before the end of 2003.

As well as rebookings from leading industry players, interest among new participants accounts for around 15%-20% of bookings, indicating the consistent growth of the show in new sectors such as prepress, glass and ceramics.

Commenting on the widespread interest, Frazer Chesterman, Exhibition Director, said: "These are extremely encouraging signs and are reflective of the proven track record and significance this event holds as the foremost exhibition of its kind in the screenprinting and wide-format digital imaging sector. What's more it proves we are moving in the right direction with our objective to make FESPA 2005 inclusive of industry trends".

FESPA 2002, held in Madrid, Spain attracted almost 28,000 visitors from a record 111 countries.
