EoPlex Elects Marvin Kilgo Corporate Officer

EoPlex Technologies (Redwood City, CA, USA), the company that produces ceramic, metallic and polymeric components by a new low cost print-forming technology, announced on 15 January 2009 that Dr Marvin Kilgo had been elected an officer of the company. He joined EoPlex in 2007 as Vice President, Operations and Engineering and will continue to lead these functions for the company.

Dr Kilgo has 20 years of experience in process development and technical management. Previously, he was Senior Director of Process Engineering for Microfabrica, a Van Nuys company, which manufactures metallic micro-devices. He has also held senior positions with Tamarack Scientific, Veratec Inc and The Kendall Company. He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from U.C. Berkeley, an MS degree in applied statistics from the University of Georgia and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech.

He has accelerated our transition from a development stage company to commercial production. Under Dr Kilgo's leadership, we will soon be announcing our first certified manufacturing facility. Our products are entering the qualification stage with customers in several industries and Marvin's leadership deserves a lot of the credit for this."
