Powder Diffraction Workshop
A new workshop will discuss the different steps needed to determine crystal structure from X-ray powder diffraction data. The workshop - to be held in Almelo, Holland from 4-7 February 2003 - is the result of a collaboration between PANalytical and Accelrys and is aimed at helping researchers from different backgrounds to become more familiar with the subject.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to work through all instrumentational and computational stages of the determination process. Samples and patterns will be provided by the participants themselves.
X-ray diffraction instrumentation from PANalytical's Application Laboratory in Almelo will collect the data required for the structure exercises.
There will be 20 places available for this workshop.
