New Brickworks to Open in Republic of Dagestan

According to RIA Dagestan the President of the Republic of Dagestan, Mukhu Aliev, has just visited the new brickworks under construction in Kaspiisk. Mr Aliev was accompanied by the Prime Minister RD Shamil Zaynalov, the first Vice Premier Nizami Kaziev and the head of the municipal formation of the town of Kaspiisk, Djamalutdin Omarov.

The factory, which has been designed for the manufacture of ceramic finishing bricks, roof tile, finishing tile and drainage pipes, will reportedly be put into operation in two months in March 2009. The designed capacity of the brickworks is 25 million bricks per year.

According to the Factory Manager, Magomedrasul Magomedov, the production of the factory will be aimed at a competitive meeting of all quality requirements. Several adjacent regions had already expressed their willingness to purchase the production.

Modern German equipment has been partially installed in the enterprise’s works and the whole process of brick manufacture will be entirely automatic.
