CO.EM Completes Restructuring and Commissions Further New Plant

CO.EM - Ceramiche Cotto Emiliano SpA (Roteglia di Castellarano, RE, Italy) - has been completing its programme of restructuring, having started up two plants for the production of monoporosa (biscuit fired) large format tiles and small sized tiles using a red body.

The company has now placed an order with SACMI (Imola, BO, Italy) for a new granito tile plant to produce large format tiles of this type.

The new production line will be composed of a PH 4800 press (featuring a column distance of 2250mm) and a wide, vertical fast dryer Type EVA 939 (which has a useful width of 2060mm and depth of 1350mm). These have been chosen to obtain the best production of both 600mm x 600mm and 600mm x 900mm granito tiles.
