WBB Minerals Appoints New Ceramic Clays Agent


WBB Minerals (Sandbach, Cheshire, England) has appointed Trimex International FZE (Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE) as its new agent for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Oman. Trimex is to become responsible for the sale into these important markets of all high quality WBB ceramic clays from throughout the WBB Minerals Group.

Trimex International FZE is one of the leading industrial minerals suppliers in the Middle East region. With an annual turnover of US$70 million, the Trimex Group handles almost 1.5 million tonnes of minerals each year. It operates mineral processing and distribution facilities at Jebel Ali, which has become a leading commercial centre for the Middle East.

The Commercial Director for WBB Minerals' ceramics and minerals operations, Ron Shuttleworth, commented: "We were very happy to reach agreement with Trimex, as they have an excellent reputation in the industrial minerals markets of the Middle East region.
