Second High Productivity Line Goes in at Ceramica Castelvetro

Sacmi technicians have now completed the start-up of a second high productivity ceramic tile production line at Ceramica Castelvetro (Solignano, MO, Italy). This now consists of a PH 3800 press (with a clearance of 2450mm) and a suitable linear filler box to feed the powders.

The newly installed PH 3800 constitutes the midway point between the small (relatively speaking) 400-ton presses and their high power 7200-ton counterparts, thus offering a highly compact machine with what Sacmi says is outstanding clearance. The press that has just come on line serves a vertical EVA 984 dryer that matches the clearance.
