Brikmakers Set To Open New Brick Plant In Western Australia

‘The West’ reports that the end of last year saw some of the final touches being made to the building housing the new Brikmakers plant in Hazelmere, WA, Australia.  This is estimated to be a A$110 million investment by owners BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd and will feature the latest European and Australian heavy clay technology.

The company is already known in the area for its Blokpave, Blokstone and Ecobrick products and it is thought that the new plant – constructed on a 30-hectare site near Perth Airport – will at full capacity be able to produce anything up to 200,000 clay bricks per day.
