BCT to re-launch Candy tile range

Leading UK ceramic tile manufacturer British Ceramic Tile (Newton Abbot, Devon) is taking advantage of the forthcoming Expotile exhibition (NEC, Birmingham, England - 21-24 January 2001) to launch its new Candy Tiles range.

The range, called '1000 Years of Art', features designs inspired by some of the most well known and best loved artistic periods of the last millennium.

From Byzantine, Renaissance and Impressionist eras to the more modern ceramic designs of the Contemporary range, the company says that the collection is likely to appeal to a wide range of UK consumers.

Candy Tiles are sold direct to retail and are available in 148mm x 148mm, 198mm x 198mm, 198mm x 250mm and the new Formetto 98x98 - four tiles in one.

Packaging has also been carefully thought out and all products are boxed and wrapped with the tile content and wall coverage clearly displayed as well as relevant fixing instructions.

"Unlike foreign imports, this range has been specifically designed for UK consumers who are very individual in their tastes and want their homes to look stylish and interesting" said Candy Tiles sales director, Graham Simms.

"With this new range, Candy Tiles now offer the consumer superb quality and a real hand-crafted feel, presenting unrivalled value within the UK tile market."

BCT will also be launching the Hereford Tiles contract range and the complementary Corinthian range at Expotile. Designed for the housebuilder, Hereford Tiles offers a range of plain colours in different sizes from today's varied colour palette, while Corinthian offers a range of marbles and exciting patterned tiles, all with matching borders, inserts and listelli.
