2,000 Exhibitors Line Up for Next BAU

Messe Muenchen GmbH (Munich, Germany) has announced that already, a full year before BAU 2007 opens its doors, almost all the exhibition space at the event has been booked.

Taking place from 15-20 January 2007, Europe's biggest building materials trade fair is attracting around 2,000 exhibitors from 40 countries, all coming to present their innovative products, techniques and systems. BAU 2007 will thus be taking up almost all the available space at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre - 180,000 square metres in 16 exhibition halls. Messe Muenchen says that the range of products and services on display at this event will be more extensive than ever before.

"Around 90% of our exhibitors have registered again for BAU, then there are a number of first-time registrations," said Dieter Dohr, who is the Exhibition Group Director responsible for BAU at Messe Muenchen. "Having taken so many bookings already, one year before the fair starts, is a sensational achievement. Yet despite this high level of demand, companies who would like to take part in BAU 2007 but have not yet booked, could still have a chance. In some areas of the exhibition, we have a little spare capacity."
