Arburg Subsidiary in Shanghai Moves Into New Premises

The new premises of the Arburg subsidiary in Shanghai were officially opened during an inaugural celebration held recently. As a representative of the Arburg parent company, Helmut Heinson, Managing Director Sales, welcomed some 150 guests.

The relocation of Arburg (Shanghai) Co Ltd to the new premises in the Shanghai business district represents a further milestone in the ongoing investment in the Chinese market. It is supported by the three subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The Shanghai subsidiary was founded in 2004 and, after three years, has now moved into its new home. During the inaugural ceremony held at the new premises, Helmut Heinson explained the reasons for the move: “At the new premises, we can work even more effectively and offer our customers the service they need in order to succeed in an increasingly competitive market,” he said. In this context, he also thanked the customers for their continued commitment to and trust in Arburg in the name of the Hehl and Keinath proprietor families.

The premises are located in a new building and offer not only generous space but also options for further expansion. On an area of approximately 500 square metres, there are offices, a training and conference room, as well as show room that can accommodate up to six Allrounders.

This not only serves as a presentation forum for the current machine range, but also as a contact point for the testing of moulds or for holding practical training courses. The service offering is completed by the well-equipped spare parts store for the rapid supply of spares and seven service technicians providing speedy assistance on site.
