Seal of Approval for MAC Medical Implants
Morgan Advanced Ceramics, a world leader in the design and manufacture of ceramic-to-metal sealing, has now gained universal approval by medical authorities for its electrical implants, according to the latest report from the company.These products now include cardiac rhythm management systems and cochlea implants, complementing Morgan Advanced Ceramics' mechanical prostheses such as hip joints.
Components feature innovative ceramic-to-metal seal assembly technology. They are formed from highly biocompatible aluminium oxide and the material's electrical properties enable feedthroughs to be smaller than previously possible, minimising overall plant size.
Components are manufactured in ISO 9002 certified environments and have full regulatory qualification for their intended use.
