Russell Finex Showcases Sieving & Filtration Equipment at Total 2007

Leaders in fine mesh separation technology, Russell Finex (Feltham, Middx, England) is showcasing its innovative range of sieving and filtration units at this year's Total exhibition. On display will be the latest additions to their sieving range; the new Blow Thru Sieve™ and the new Mini Sifter.

The Blow Thru Sieve™ is a revolutionary unit designed to check-screen materials in pneumatic conveying lines, enabling processors to sieve and transport material simultaneously. The Blow Thru Sieve™ ensures that incoming ingredients or final products leaving a plant are free from any contamination. By combining screening and transportation the sieve eliminates double handling, increasing efficiency. Its unique design allows the sieve to achieve phenomenal throughput rates, says Russell Finex, enabling processors to screen material as they load or unload tankers or silos without slowing the process.

The second new sieve being introduced by Russell Finex is the Mini Sifter™ which is perfect for smaller processing and pilot plants. Based on Russell's well known Compact Sieve technology the Mini Sifter offers the same benefits but at an entry level price. Improving the quality and hygiene of incoming ingredients and safeguarding the reputation of smaller processing customers is just as important as it is for the multi-national corporations that Russell supplies. The simple design of the Mini Sifter means that strip down and cleaning, can be achieved in seconds. Minimal operator involvement and compact design are features that are common across the Russell Finex sieve range and have been continued in this latest addition.

The Russell stand will also feature the award winning Finex Separator. Perfect for grading or sizing powders, this high performance machine is said to offer many measurable benefits over conventional separators including increased productivity, lower noise levels and upgrade flexibility.

Other units on display include a fully working demonstration model of the market leading Horizontal Eco Filter and the highly successful 3in1 sieving station. The Eco Filter removes oversize contamination from most liquids including paints, inks, chocolate and chemicals.

The 3in1 is designed for low level bag emptying and check screening of raw materials where operator protection is essential and product quality must be beyond criticism. The unit has been designed with operators in mind and allows them to tip bagged materials without injury or harm.

Highly experienced Russell Finex representatives will be manning the stand and are ready to answer any questions and to provide separation solutions for customers' specific needs. The Russell Finex stand can be found in Hall 4, stand number 4650.

All of these units can be supplied to the latest ATEX approval ratings making them suitable for installation in potentially hazardous environments.
