SACMI and Riedhammer Join Forces in Collaborative Arrangement
The SACMI Group (Imola, BO, Italy) and Riedhammer GmbH (Nuremberg, Germany) are forming a strategic alliance as an answer to further increasing globalisation and customer demands.In a move to create this alliance, SACMI, Italy's largest manufacturer of plant for the ceramic industry, has acquired a minority interest in Riedhammer, the leading German company for industrial kilns.
In joining the forces of both organisations, the two companies said that they intended to offer their customers the combined competence in complete production lines and advanced firing technology.
Investment in research and development in both companies will be the driving force to meet the customers' demand for enhanced solutions.
The two companies will continue with their respective present organisations. All customer relationships will be maintained. KPMG Corporate Finance acted as exclusive financial adviser to Riedhammer.
