Richard Slee Ceramic Work on Show
The Crafts Council (London, England) has announced that it will host (in its Gallery space) a major retrospective on the work of Richard Slee, one of the leading figures in contemporary ceramics. The exhibition will take place from 22 April through until 4 July this year.
The exhibition will feature the full extent of Slee's work from the 1970s to the present, including new pieces made especially for this event. His work is highly influential on his contemporaries and in 2001 he was awarded the prestigious Jerwood Applied Arts Prize for Ceramics.
