RIBA Accreditation for Daniel Platt

Daniel Platt (Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England) has been appointed to the RIBA CPD Providers Network - the network supporting RIBA's programme of Continuing Professional Development for members.

As part of the CPD programme, RIBA members are required to attend a specified number of seminars every year. Topics covered can include such items as building products, services and best practice techniques.

Commenting on Daniel Platt's accreditation, National Sales Manager Mark Malsom said: "At Daniel Platt we offer a wealth of information to architects, specifiers and indeed anybody selecting our flooring products.

"The breadth of the information we can provide is considerable and extends from the actual quarrying and production processes involved in the manufacture of our tiles, right through to product selection and correct fitting, laying and cleaning."

As part of its commitment to the RIBA CPD programme, Daniel Platt has put together a 45-minute presentation covering all aspects of the company's products and services.

"We are proud to be associated with the RIBA providers' network of manufacturers, advisory organisations, universities and consultancies," continued Mark Malsom, "especially as in achieving accreditation, we had to demonstrate that we could withstand the most rigorous of assessment procedures."
