Kemac Fully Integrated into Sacmi

Kemac talks of “the courage to look to the future” with production already unified followed by the announcement that now the company’s sales organisation passes under direct Sacmi control, giving a welcome boost to the brand that has always been the international reference point for third fire operations.

This is described as a move which is not just industrial synergy, nor simply integration of products and technology. As of now Kemac – a long-standing producer of machines for mosaic, third fire and tile trims – can also rely on Sacmi’s powerful organisation when it comes to the sales network, which provides everything from estimates to after-sales assistance.

What began in 2007 as a strategic choice for the company’s future, and which had led to the complete incorporation of Kemac within Sacmi as part of an industrial rationalisation and unification policy, has now been completed via what the company calls “a courageous and essential strategy to strengthen the Kemac brand on the market, the aim being to deal with the ‘natural selection’ that has recently involved the entire third fire division”.

“If we analyse the industry data from a medium-term viewpoint”, observed Pietro Cassani, Sacmi’s General Manager, “we see that, in order to survive and grow, we need to innovate and specialise our products, understand customers’ changing needs by taking a ‘global process’ approach: in this respect a single sales strategy under Sacmi’s guidance will be essential, an effective addition to the technical-production integration with the other firms in the end-of-line field (SIMA, SACMI AUTOMATION and NUOVA FIMA)”.
