Kaolin AD Reports Steady Growth Throughout 2007
On 31 January 2008, Kaolin AD (Senovo, Bulgaria) reported its preliminary financial data for 2007 before the regulatory agencies and the investment community. According to the said data, the company has realised operating income amounting to BGN 105,394 thousand, which is in fact a growth in sales of almost 30% compared to the same period of 2006.
Throughout the entire past year, Kaolin AD maintained a steady rate of growth in sales revenues in all major sectors of its activities.
The company’s net profit realised in 2007 amounted to BGN 17,090 thousand, which is a growth in the profit of almost 110% compared to the same period of 2006. The unfavourable effect resulting from the increased expenses due to increase in the prices of liquid fuels and of transport services also continued to influence the operating activities during the last quarter of 2007; however, notwithstanding the above, the company succeeded in retaining the steady growth in its profit registered in the last several quarters.
